Raising and Lowering mid-hinged columns allow the column to be lowered to the ground, providing a safe and easy method for maintenance. These columns have been designed to be installed where access is limited, such as, footpaths, railway stations, etc. The lowering and raising of the column is simple to use and does not require the additional purchase of expensive hydraulic pump equipment, etc. as the simple attachable kit is supplied with the column. Our standard finish to these columns is hot dipped galvanised to BS EN-ISO1461 for mild steel. Alternative finishes are available upon request, for example, painted finishes, anti-poster and anti-graffiti paint, bitumen roots. ..................................................................
